Our core beliefs are that we believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
  • There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons:
    • God the Father
    • God the Son
    • God the Holy Spirit
  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule.
  • Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. There is no other way to the Father but by coming through Jesus.
  • Everyone who believes in the work of Jesus on the Cross, which was that He died for the sins of mankind, is born again. That means the Holy Spirit has therefore rescued them from Hell which is an eternity away from God.
  • Every believer must be baptised in water, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • The redemptive work of Jesus on the Cross is complete and provides healing for the body, soul and spirit. This redemption breaks every curse and releases us into a life of blessing.
  • The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it, with the evidence of “speaking in tongues” and the subsequent fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
  • As the Holy Spirit is allowed to rule, the Christian is renewed in mind. Through that ability and power of God each person is able to live a holy life, sanctified by the power of the Holy Spirit
  • In the resurrection of the saved and the lost – the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God.
  • Jesus Christ commissioned the global Church to make disciples. We do so through the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel, in love and the power of the Spirit and then through effective teaching of the scriptures. The convert becomes a disciple who learns to follow the Holy Spirit.
  • In the blessed hope – the rapture of the Church at Christ’s second coming.
